After surfing up in the Northlands, I was feeling knackerd and was hoping that Claire and Alec was feeling the same..! I had already planned to meet up with two friends from England in Auckland and to go away and do something. The two of them work on an outdoor centre on an island all to themselves just outside Auckland.
It was brilliant seeing them again, and we discovered we hadnt actually seen eachother for two years! Time flies! But it felt like we were never apart..!We sat off to fetch George, their fancy van and headed towards Piha, a surf spot on the east coast of Auckland. We spent the weekend lying on the grass catching up on everyones plans and gossip,drinking red wine and watching the stars..
Just as I hoped it would be!
